Join us for a 8-week Children’s Ballet Program designed to introduce young dancers to movement, music, coordination and the wonderful world of ballet!

👶 PARENT & ME | Ages 18 months–3
⏰ 9:30 AM – 10:00 AM – 💰 Registration: $64 or Drop-In $10 per class (Must have membership)
SUNDAYS – October 18 & 25 November 8, 15, 22 & 29 December 6 & 13
Parent participation required
Build connection while introducing little ones to movement, music and rhythm in a fun and welcoming environment.
👗 What to Wear: Ballet outfit or leggings with a T-shirt.
🩰 PRIMARY BALLET 1 | Ages 3–6
⏰ 10:10 AM – 11:00 AM – 💰 Registration: $88 or Drop-In $13 per class (Must have membership)
SUNDAYS – October 18 & 25 November 8, 15, 22 & 29 December 6 & 13
An introduction to ballet and creative movement, including French ballet terminology, musical awareness, balance, agility and coordination.
👗 What to Wear: Ballet clothing or leggings with a fitted top and socks.
🩰 PRIMARY BALLET 2 | Ages 4–6
⏰ 4:30 PM – 5:20 PM – 💰 Registration: $88 or Drop-In $13 per class (Must have membership)
WEDNESDAYS – October 21 & 28, November 11, 18 & 25, December 2 & 9
Young dancers will continue developing their ballet and creative movement skills while learning French ballet terminology, musical awareness, balance, agility and coordination.
👗 What to Wear: Ballet clothing or leggings with a fitted top and socks.
🩰 LYRICAL | Ages 7–12
⏰ 5:25 PM – 6:25 PM – 💰 Registration: $96 or Drop-In $14 per class (Must have membership)
WEDNESDAYS – October 21 & 28, November 11, 18 & 25, December 2 & 9
This is a class that will teach graceful, emotive discipline movements that draw heavily on Ballet and Jazz. Lyrical is set to music with meaningful lyrics, this style emphasises fluidity, grace, and storytelling. Dancers connect movement with feeling in a deeply expressive way.
👗 What to Wear: Leggings, socks, tight fitted shirt or bodysuit.

Rokaya Duval-Lanteigne
Rokaya Duval-Lanteigne began her professional dance training at the age of 11. She completed the seven-year program at the Royal Winnipeg Ballet School before becoming an aspirant with the Royal Winnipeg Ballet (RWB), where she had the opportunity to dance and tour with the company.
After three years performing with the RWB, Rokaya moved to Moncton in 2003, where she was contracted with the Atlantic Ballet Theatre of Canada for three seasons. In 2007, she moved to Calgary to dance with Alberta Ballet and also performed as a guest dancer with the Royal Winnipeg Ballet.
After retiring from professional performance in 2008, Rokaya became Associate Director and Ballet Mistress of DancEast. Throughout her teaching career, she has also had the opportunity to guest teach at numerous dance schools, sharing her extensive knowledge and experience with dancers of all ages.
Rokaya began teaching with Dance Creation Studio in 2017 and currently serves as the Head Ballet Mistress for their Classical Ballet Conservatory.
With an impressive background in professional performance, teaching and artistic leadership, Rokaya brings a wealth of experience and passion to her students. She is dedicated to developing strong technical foundations while helping dancers build confidence, artistry and a lifelong love of dance.
